Curators: Kaspar König, Hans Ulrich Obrist.
From the press release: on the occasion of the Festival exhibition “The Broken Mirror”, Ed Ruscha, the American superstar of pop art, visits Austria and designs the two largest posters that Europe has ever seen: 10 by 40 meters at the “Messepalast” and 10 times 54 meters at the “Kunsthalle”. This worldwide unique project was only possible through the cooperation of Kunsthalle Wien, Wiener Festwochen, Museum in Progress and ArtBekoCreativ, the inventors of the CALSI technique.
